Big Lottery Fund (BIG) grants half the money for good causes raised by the National Lottery. It is committed to bringing improvements to communities and people’s lives. Funding varies, providing for arts activities, school facilities and activities, professional counselling support, sports, community facilities, music and dance.
BIG provides capital costs for its projects, from large scale projects to gifts of smaller grants for community groups and projects that benefit health, education and the environment.
Application forms and monitoring must be completed when applying and using grant funding. There are certain conditions that need to be met, including publicly acknowledging the funding award.
